In 2 cups of water add half a teaspoon of turmeric, a piece of cinnamon, a piece of ginger, a Thippali and 2-3 pinch of grinded black peppers and boil it well. When only one cup of water is left, filter it and drink it sip by sip, its steam is also given relief. To increase its taste, you can add some honey to it.

When this water is reduced to half, filter it and drink it sip by sip, it provides great relief from cough. Ginger tea helps in reducing throat inflammation, dryness, and mucus.

Apart from ginger tea, a piece of ginger can also be used raw. Take a small piece of ginger, dip it in honey, put it in the mouth and suck it slowly to provide relief from sore throat and cough.
